Thanks Ami! iQ is a really nice Canadian alternative to Method … and I think it even works better.

Thanks so much for the tip, do you have any tips for cleaning out mold from freezers, I have just been given a chest freezer and have tried bleach but the mold still appears to be ingrained in the freezer.

      Hi Helen,

Funny you ask! The same company that makes iQ Cleaner also makes a 100% natural mold cleaner that works better than any industrial cleaner I’ve used. Its nice to be able to use something in a freezer that isn’t going to leave a film of nasty chemicals. The product is called Concrobium Mold Control and can be purchased at Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Wal-Mart… pretty much any major retailer.

I”m not sure how the product works on delicate fabrics such as curtains. I would recommend contacting the company directly as they are very responsive to questions from their consumers. Toll free is 866-811-4148. Good luck with your mold problem!
      Cheers.

Do you have any tips for getting ground in dirt out of the footstools of my sofa, something that I could do by hand. I don’t really want to have to get a specialist cleaner in for the job.

Consider first using a dry brush to remove as much of the dirt as possible. If you wet it right away, it will only encourage the dirt to settle in even more. To be honest, I don’t have any experience with this particular issue. Best of luck!
